Subjects

It is important for all stakeholders to be able to access information about each subject offered in our academic curriculum. On this page you will find a menu showing the subjects we deliver. On each subject page you will find an overview of the philosophy and key principles of that subject alongside some links to key documents informing you about the curriculum:

• The Learning Journey – this document shows you the curriculum overview for that subject, including key topics and assessments from Y7 to Y11 – if the subject is offered at Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. If the subject is a GCSE or BTEC option then it will show the journey from Y10 to Y11. In addition, this document also shows how our Key Stages link to Key Stages Two and Five.
• The Programmes of Study for Key Stages Three and/or Key Stage Four – this document will inform you which topics are studied during the academic year
• The examination board and specification studied at Key Stage Four if appropriate
