William Edwards School

Local Governance

William Edwards School is part of the South West Essex Community Education Trust which has its own board of Trustees. William Edwards School has a Local Advisory Board (LSAB)

The LSAB supports the Head Teacher in developing and securing the school’s own ethos, in line with the vision and ethos of the Trust, as well as acting as a critical friend and sounding board.

The LSAB will gather parental views around areas for improvement – “you said we did” concept. They will also advise the Trust board about key local issues.

For membership and details of how to engage with LSAB members, please contact the main school office.
